Northwest GA CPR was established in 2018 with a clear mission: to provide affordable, high-quality CPR and AED training that is accessible to everyone. Built on the belief that lifesaving education should never be out of reach, the organization delivers evidence-based instruction aligned with current American Heart Association guidelines. Our goal is to equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively when emergencies occur.
About the Owner & Instructor
Northwest GA CPR is owned and operated by Derick Dodson, a dedicated firefighter with 12 years of service at his local fire department. With extensive real-world emergency response experience, Derick brings practical insight, professionalism, and a strong commitment to community preparedness to every course. His background in public safety ensures that training is not only guideline-based, but also practical and relevant to real-life situations.
Who We Serve
Northwest GA CPR provides certification training for a wide range of groups, including churches, civic organizations, homeschool groups and co-ops, as well as commercial and industrial businesses. We regularly serve residential and industrial construction companies, healthcare providers, and any organization requiring CPR, AED, or First Aid certification. Whether training a small community group or a large workforce, our instruction is designed to be engaging, compliant, and effective.
